Carl Lewis and Leroy Burrell helped the USA reclaim the 4x100-meter relay world record in 37.67 seconds at the Weltklasse meet in Zurich, Switzerland, Wednesday.
"All America, no French," Lewis chanted after running the anchor leg in finishing ahead of France's European champion squad. The two relay teams shared the previous mark (37.79).

TOKYO - Carl Lewis has often said, "I'm never surprised by anything I do." But he amazed himself Sunday under a full moon in the Land of the Rising Sun.
When Lewis crossed the finish line first in the 100 meters at the World Track && Field Championships, he raised his arms and glanced toward the sky. He turned quickly toward the clock, saw the time, 9.86, and covered his head with his arms. He had set a world record.
